Put yourself in the role of a law enforcement officer who is concerned about another officer’s mental health, specifically concerning suicide. How would you respond with a knowledge of the PERF recommendations and CIT training if: 1) You and the officer are the same rank and are on the same shift/team? 2) You are a supervisor and the officer is a patrol officer under your command? 3) You are a patrol officer and the officer is your shift commander?
